Grand Canyon University Athletics

Located in Phoenix, Arizona, Grand Canyon University is a Christian university committed to the pursuit of knowledge and to a deepening understanding and experience of faith as witnessed through its academics, programs and people. Enriched by a Baptist heritage, this commitment is now expressed through a diverse community of Christians united by a Trinitarian and Incarnational faith and a vision of the individual and the world transformed by the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Roughly 1,600 students attend GCU, with a student to faculty ratio of 16:1. Special programs offered include a Freshmen Honors Program, ROTC, and a 3-2 engineering program with Arizona State University. There are numerous opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to become involved in ministry through the Grand Canyon community. Spiritual opportunities are representative of student organizations that focus on ministry opportunities both on and off campus. Students are encouraged to find a place of personal involvement through these and other student groups.
